EARLY PAMPHLETS |
For the original 100 members there was no conference and no Big Book. Only these pamphlets and the Bible (besides meetings and working with a sponsor) to keep one sober. Most all of the "AA pamphlets" were published after the Big Book. With 100 or less members in only 3 cities at most, it was just a lot easier to convey the message directly one-on-one than go to the the trouble and expense of even
mimeographing a pamphlet.
